Take patient history and prepares patient for testing.
Set up equipment and readies room for testing.
Clean and help maintain testing equipment.
Conduct basic hearing testing on The Center for ENT patients as ordered by a physician and on direct Premier Audiology patients.
Assist Audiologists as needed in clinic.
Maintain patient records.
Provide patients with basic hearing care information.
Perform in-house maintenance and routine repairs on hearing aids.
Package and ship hearing aids for outsourced repairs.
Responsible for tracking and ordering supplies as needed by the Audiology Department.
Prepare and mail periodic newsletters to former and prospective patients.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelors Degree is preferred.
Experience: Three to five years experience in a medical clinic. Prefer experience working with Audiologists and/or performing audiograms.
Certificates & Licenses: Certification in audiometric testing is preferred. Certificate must be obtained upon hire.
