Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join a clinical team with a Nephrology clinic. You will perform the routine duties of triage, recording medical histories, and preparing the treatment rooms. Responsibilities:
- Recorded patients' medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.
- Prepared and administered medications as directed by the physicians.
- Explained treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.
- Assist with in office procedures as directed by the physicians.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Two (2) – Three (3) years of Medical Assistant experience within a physician office or clinic.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be willing to float to other locations as needed.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
Benefits and Perks:
- $18.00/hr. – $20.00/hr.
