Large ophthalmology clinic has multiple openings for entry level and experienced Medical Technicians/Medical Scribes in the Woodlands on a direct hire basis. This is an extremely busy clinic, supporting 2 doctors with a very high patient volume. Considered candidates will have extremely strong organizational and communication skills to support a fast-paced clinic. This position is stationary, but may require travel from time to time. Will assist in the smooth operation of an ophthalmology practice
Assist physician in maintaining accurate records/documentation of patient exams, visits and other communications.
Will assist in performing diagnostic tests and/or other tasks as required by physician/supervisor.

4+ years' medical office experience within a clinical setting
High school diploma or GED required
Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Must have excellent computer skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other staff members.
Must be flexible in work assignments and schedule
Must demonstrate commitment to ongoing education and upgrading of skills
Must work well with others under pressure.
Previous experience in ophthalmology is strongly preferred.
Flexibility required as this position requires overtime and change in work location
Ideal candidate must be able to perform within a fast paced environment
Commitment to position and company on a long term basis
Need flexibility to work overtime when necessary
Must be willing and able to commute to other locations as need with transportation provided.
Will be paid during commute time to other locations!
