Our client in the Medical Center area is partnering with Team1Medical to seek an MRI Technologist who knows how to utilize an MRI machine, make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinate with the patient’s physician to ensure the results are precise and clear. MRI Technologist’s Responsibilities
- Utilizes high field magnetic energy for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
- Imaging services vary by location, therefore, performance of certain MR and MRA exams may be required depending on assigned site.
- Utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS).
- May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties.
MRI Technologist’s Qualifications
- One (1) year of work experience as an MRI technologist.
- MRT registry within one year of hire or MRT-General Certificate or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist).
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology OR education sufficient to meet the ACR accreditation guidelines for an MRI Tech.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills are required.
