An oncology specialty center is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who will provide nursing care to patients with various health conditions at this acclaimed clinic under the direction of the physician. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner’s Responsibilities
- Assist the staff with chemotherapy infusions and hospital rounds.
- Request and examine diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and track their progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner’s Qualifications
- A master of science in nursing degree is required.
- ACNP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) certification is required.
- Experience with Oncology is a strong plus.
- Experience with EMR: CureMD is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and time management skills are required.
