The City of Houston’s Health and Human Services department is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Bilingual Public Health Nurse IV who will serve as the team lead, performing supervisory, consultative, advisory, and educational nursing work in the public health field. Bilingual Public Health Nurse IV’s Responsibilities
- Share responsibility with other nursing staff members in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the various public health nursing programs.
- Educate the community regarding public health services; may instruct specialized preventative health courses.
- Develop and conduct lectures and demonstrations on new techniques for nurses in public or private clinics.
- Review, evaluate, and develop public health care/nursing services for utilization within health centers or community settings.
Bilingual Public Health Nurse IV’s Qualifications
- A bachelor of science degree in nursing and a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas is required.
- Four (4) years of experience as a practicing registered nurse is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Must have a Valid Texas Driver’s License.
