Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations on research participants. This PRN role is ideal for a seasoned sonographer who is confident working independently, supporting both diagnostic and research-based cardiac and vascular studies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with established guidelines
- Independently operate and maintain sonography equipment
- Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic and research findings to physicians
- Provide preliminary diagnostic reports for physician review
- Collaborate with cardiology and research teams to support accurate diagnosis, including complex congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
- Assist with research activities, including data collection and participation in research projects
- Review, train, and coach junior-level sonographers on processes and procedures as needed
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all research and privacy protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in echocardiography and vascular sonography
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS or CCI) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS or CCI)

The base pay range for this position is $50-$55, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
