Job Description
Join a leading healthcare research organization dedicated to advancing cardiovascular medicine. We are seeking an experienced Senior Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while supporting innovative clinical research and mentoring fellow sonographer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Obtain high-quality echocardiographic images to assist physicians in diagnosing congenital and acquired cardiovascular conditions.
- Evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic and research findings to physicians.
- Prepare preliminary diagnostic reports for physician review.
- Ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Train, mentor, and support junior sonographers on departmental procedures and best practices.
- Assist with clinical research activities, including data collection and study-related imaging.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to quality assurance and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in both echocardiography and vascular sonography.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Experience performing high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms and vascular studies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and high-quality patient care.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $55-$60 not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
