Harris County Public Health Department is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Clinic Clerk to join their team. As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program. Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls, check-in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
  • Complete data entry and evaluate eligibility documents for residency, identification, income, and immunizations.
  • Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
  • Conduct community outreach and provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
 Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Translation services are to be provided; any language other than English is required.
  • EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.

  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends!
