Harris County Public Health Department is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Clinic Clerk to join their team. As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform a variety of clerical duties in support of the WIC Program. Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, check in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic
- Complete data entry and evaluate eligibility documents for residency, identification, income, and immunizations
- Explain WIC Program procedures; use of Texas WIC card and food benefits to clients
- Conduct community outreach, provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
- One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
- Translation services will need to be provided; any language other than English is required
- EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus

- Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Fridays: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 3rd Saturday of Every Month: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
