Dental Assistant Responsibilities
Assists dentist and dental hygienist with patient preparation and chairside treatment.
Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
Takes, develops and mounts x-rays.
Perform follow-up actions as directed by dentist.
Perform routine clerical duties as needed.
Dental Assistant Qualifications
To be considered for the Dental Assistant position, you will need the following:
1+ year of experience in a dental clinic
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or completed Dental Assisting National Boards (DANB)
Valid Radiology Certificate from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE)
Please read the qualifications for this position carefully. The successful applicant will have to get up to speed quickly after hired and therefore, the client will only consider those who meet all the criteria listed above.
