Patient Access Representative’s Responsibilities
- Remove accumulated tartar, deposits, accretions, or stains, except mottled enamel stains from the natural and restored surfaces of teeth.
- Expose and develop radiographs.
- Record preliminary inspection of the mouth and teeth and chart the findings.
- Advise patients on home care and treatment of teeth and gums.
Patient Access Representative’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED and a certificate of completion from an approved dental hygienist training program is required.
- Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
- 5 – 7 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist is required.
- EMR: EPIC experience is highly preferred.
