An acclaimed ambulance service organization is seeking a team player to join the team as an EMT to provide appropriate, efficient, and timely pre-hospital advanced and basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured in the Dallas Area. EMT’s Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough examination of the sick or injured patient and assist other medical personnel.
- Administer prompt and efficient basic and advanced life support care within the limits of licensure or certifications.
- Provide safe and efficient patient transport in the ambulance to the medical facility.
- Responsible for full knowledge of the ambulance’s basic life support equipment and its proper use.
EMT’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED or a National or State certification as an Advanced EMT is required.
- A current CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- A valid and current Driver’s License is required; one must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills are required.
