Job Description
Our trusted client in the Medical Center is seeking a Financial Clearance Associate who will impact patient financial clearance experience across a continuum of care served by one or more designated centers. Submit your resume and see where this opportunity can lead you!
Responsibilities:
- Verified the eligibility/benefits, pre-authorization requirements, available payment options, financial counseling, and other identified clearance-related duties.
- Collaborated with Patient Access, payors, third-party vendors, patients, and other identified representatives internal or external to the institution to financially clear patients for care.
- Escalated financial clearance issues to the direct supervisor or coordinator to resolve.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field is required.
- Five (5) years of business experience in healthcare, insurance, or a multi-specialty physician practice is highly preferred.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required or associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
Benefits and Perks:
- $21.00/hr.
