Team1Medical is working with a behavioral health center to fill their current opening for a Health Information Technician on a temp basis. They are looking for an individual to join their team to assist with the scanning and auditing of medical records.
Health Information Technician’s Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily scanning of medical records as part of a high-volume scanning team.
- Perform QA (audit) on processed documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain required logs.
- Data Entry
- Communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Able to manage significant workload, and to work efficiently under pressure meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must possess high degree of accuracy, efficiency and dependability.
- Strong time management skills.
- Provides excellent customer service to customers in responding to inquiries.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Health Information Technician’s Qualifications
- One year of work experience with medical records management.
- Strong knowledge of HIPPA, laws and regulations related to medical records.
- Must have a High School Diploma.
