Job Description
One of the premier Cardiology clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant who will room patients, obtain vitals and administer EKGs. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform triage responsibilities such as taking vital signs
- Perform EKGs
- Assist with setting up cardiology testing such as Nuclear Medicine, Stress Test and Tilt Table testing
- Collect patient history and enter information in the electronic medical record
- Call in patient prescriptions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification through an accredited program is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
- Experience in a Cardiology practice preferred
- Must be willing to travel to multiple clinic locations in North Houston
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a strong plus
- Must be able to check blood pressure manually
