Licensed Mental Health Clinician
Salary Rate: $32.00/hr. - $36.00/hr.
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Temporary
We are looking for a skilled Licensed Mental Health Clinician who will provide and coordinate mental health and behavioral services in a school setting. Role will involve providing counseling to students and collaborating with staff and families to support children.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate the resources dedicated to students’ mental health and well-being to ensure full integration and equitable distribution of social-emotional services in school.
- Advocate for equitable distribution of services in schools.
- Maintain excellent, electronic documentation to create a seamless system of coordinated student care.
- Implement intervention strategies consistent with evidence-based best practices, including direct and/or group therapeutic services, staff support, and classroom strategies.
- Monitor coordination of service progress and adjust services as needed.
What is Required:
- Must have an active licensure as an LCSW or LPC through the Missouri State Board of Social Work or Licensed Psychologist through the Missouri State Committee of Psychologists.
- 1 year of experience in counseling/social work with school age students. Previous experience in school setting is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of child and adolescent development and skilled with individual and group counseling.
