A trusted healthcare organization in the Columbus, GA area is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Licensed Practical Nurse who will be responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their well-being by checking vital signs, recording the patient’s medical history, and assisting patients with personal hygiene. Licensed Practical Nurse’s Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in direct file (paper/electronic).
- Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient.
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering age-appropriate medications.
- Evaluate the patient’s well-being and report any immediate needs to the medical staff.
Licensed Practical Nurse’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED and a completed certification from an accredited nursing program are required.
- Must have an Active LPN licensure through the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Experience working within an OB/GYN clinic is required.
- Extensive knowledge of basic health care procedures is required.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and the ability to walk and stand for long periods are required.
