Licensed Vocational Nurse
Job Description
- Administer and distribute vaccines in community settings to ensure children, adolescents, and adults are immunized promptly.
- Participate in special projects, outreach events, and quality improvement projects, organized by the health department, and the Immunization Bureau in collaboration with external partners to improve the health in the community.
- Will perform other duties, as assigned.
- A valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse Certification is required.
- One (1) year of Licensed Vocational Nurse experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility is required.
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse with the State of Texas.
- Basic CPR certification is required.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and be able to pass a driver’s license check.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
