Team1Medical Staffing is partnering with the City of Houston’s Health and Human Services Department for an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to administer and issue medications, vaccines, phlebotomy, injections, and skin tests. This is a great opportunity to work directly with those in our community!
Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Responsibilities
- Administer and distribute vaccines in community settings to ensure children, adolescents, and adults are immunized promptly.
- Participate in special projects, outreach events, and quality improvement projects, organized by the health department, and the Immunization Bureau in collaboration with external partners to improve the health in the community.
- Will perform other duties, as assigned.
Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Qualifications
- A valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse Certification is required.
- One (1) year of Licensed Vocational Nurse experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility is required.
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse with the State of Texas.
- Basic CPR certification is required.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and be able to pass a driver’s license check.
