A renowned healthcare organization is teaming up with Team1Medical in search of a Medical Assistant to join their team! As the Medical Assistant, you will record patient information for the physicians, maintain patient records, and perform front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and answering incoming phone calls. Medical Assistant’s Responsibilities
- Record patients’ vitals and maintain updated patient records.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect co-payments.
- Provide patient care functions for an assigned clinical area.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.
Medical Assistant’s Qualifications
- Complete certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program or school is required.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Essential medical terminology knowledge is a strong plus.
Company Culture & Perks
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and no weekends!
- This temporary position will be completed by the end of July.
