Team1Medical is teaming up with an accredited podiatry clinic and is seeking a Medical Assistant who will be responsible for performing patient care and aiding clerical and administrative staff. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available today!
Medical Assistant’s Responsibilities
- Perform triage responsibilities such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and wound care.
- Perform clerical and administrative responsibilities such as filing and/or scanning patient medical records, and obtaining lab or x-ray reports, hospital notes, and referral information.
- Collect patient history, perform medication reconciliation, and enter information in the electronic medical record.
Medical Assistant’s Qualifications
- A Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program is required.
- Five (5) years of experience as a medical assistant is required; prior experience in a specialty practice is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, and organizational skills are a strong plus.
