Job Description
 
One of the premier Orthopedics and Pain Management clinics is seeking a Medical Call Center Representative that will answer patient inquiries and send caller to the appropriate department. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Serves as the first point of contact for patients who have questions or issues related to billing 
  • Handles a high volume of inbound or outbound calls 
  • Answers phones in a pleasant manner and deals with patient’s needs expeditiously 
  • Sends all medical encounters to the appropriate administrative staff and routes incoming calls appropriately 
  • Sorts mail, scan and attach documents received from the medical insurance company into EMR
  • Assists with scanning and attaching data collected into EMR 
  • Responds to emails and medical request in a timely manner 
  • Identifies and confirms the accuracy of patient inquiry data
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of the content, intent, and application of HIPAA, federal and state regulations
  • Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
 
Benefits and Perks:
 
  • $15.00/hr. - $17.25/hr. 
  • After 4 weeks of onsite training, position will be fully remote.
  • Once hired on with the organization they offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes three weeks of Paid Time Off, PPO or HMO, and 401k

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $15.00 – $17.25 not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
