Medical Receptionist’s Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and perform check-in and out
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Collect co-pays
  • Verify demographics and insurance information
  • Pre-register patients for appointments
  • Places appointment reminder calls
 
Medical Receptionist’s Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of 1 + years of experience working in a Physician’s office is required.
  • Must have a patient-focused demeanor and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
