Team1Medical is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to join their Woodlands team! The Medical Records Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and maintaining medical records. Medical Records Coordinator’s Responsibilities
- Collect and manage patient information from physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
- Maintain patient files and records following the established standards.
- Prepare reports and summaries of patient data in the electronic medical records system.
- Respond to inquiries from the medical staff regarding patient records.
Medical Records Coordinator’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Certified Medical Records Technician (CMRT) certification is preferred.
- Preview work experience in a clinical or detailed administrative setting is highly recommended but not required.
- Essential knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and medical records management is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills are required.
