A prominent healthcare organization is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting in an area of specialization under the direction of a physician. Nurse Practitioner’s Responsibilities
- Perform relevant patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Coordinate, direct, and implement the patient’s plan of care.
- Order, conduct, and interpret pertinent laboratory and diagnostic studies and procedures.
- Compose medical recommendations and or referrals.
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate an outcome-based treatment plan.
Nurse Practitioner’s Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Nursing or a Master’s degree in Nursing with completion of a post-master Nurse Practitioner Certification Program is required.
- A Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse and an APRN-NP (with specialty certification) is required.
- Two (2) years of experience with Heart Failure or Cardiovascular surgery is highly recommended.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and BCLS Certifications are required.
