In this role, you’ll be part of a patient-focused team delivering life-changing cardiology and cardiovascular. Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations for cardiology patients.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Assist with management of chronic cardiac conditions (e.g., CHF, hypertension, arrhythmias, CAD).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, medication, and lifestyle changes.
- Perform hospital rounds and document patient progress (if applicable).
- Ensure high standards of care in compliance with clinical guidelines and practice protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
- Board Certification as an NP (FNP or AGACNP preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of cardiology or internal medicine experience (strongly preferred).
- ACLS/BLS certification required.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient engagement skills
