Job Description
 
We are currently seeking a Nursing Program Manager to provide operational and strategic leadership for one or more key programs within our Cancer Care service line. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who thrives on driving excellence in quality, outcomes, and team performance.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to advance program goals and align with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and safe patient care delivery.
  • Manage staffing, performance, and development of nursing and support personnel assigned to the program.
  • Develop and monitor budgets to maintain financial health while optimizing program outcomes.
  • Champion patient and family advocacy, promoting ethical and compassionate care.
  • Drive quality improvement and evidence-based initiatives to enhance outcomes and service excellence.
  • Collaborate across departments and disciplines to strengthen teamwork and communication.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and leadership within the organization.
  • Support and participate in nursing research and professional development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of four (4) years of RN experience, including at least two (2) years in progressive management or leadership roles
  • Active RN license or valid temporary permit to practice nursing in Texas
  • Approved specialty certification relevant to program area
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred
  • Oncology program management or ambulatory care leadership experience is preferred

The base pay range for this position is $170,000-$193,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future  growth.
