Job Description
We are currently seeking a Nurse Manager – Outpatient to oversee clinical operations, guide nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to outpatient nursing staff and clinical support teams.
- Assess and adjust staffing levels daily to maintain efficient operations and ensure optimal patient care.
- Partner with clinic management on workflow design, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development for nursing personnel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, practice leaders, and administrative teams to enhance quality, safety, and service delivery.
- Develop and manage budgets for staffing, equipment, and supplies in coordination with the Clinic Manager.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and special projects.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the clinic.
- Maintain open communication with patients, families, and staff, ensuring satisfaction and effective issue resolution.
- Participate in hospital-wide committees, initiatives, and continuing education to support professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting, with prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Current RN license or valid temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Texas
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred
- Oncology or multi-site outpatient management experience is preferred

The base pay range for this position is $180,000-$202,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
