Job Description
One of the premier Sleep Clinics is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide phlebotomy services for their team to assist with their research studies. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!
Responsibilities:
- Properly identifies patient according to policy, draws blood samples, labels specimens and sends to laboratory for analysis.
- Maintains records of tests performed and samples taken.
- Generates patient collection lists and labels, ensures the correct test are collected by using inquiry mode, verifying collection of all specimens, and labels STATS with stickers.
- Checks collection batches and overdue lists frequently and ensures that all orders are promptly collected.
- Performs special tests to include clotting time, bleeding time and glucose tolerance tests as needed and reports results.
- Inventories supplies, equipment and requisitions as needed.
- Stocks workstation with necessary supplies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three (3) years of experience in drawing blood specimens or experience that is comparable is required.
- Must have obtained High School Diploma or GED.
Benefits and Perks:
- $20.00-$24.00/hr.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
