A highly acclaimed healthcare organization in the Medical Center is partnering with Team1Medical to seek a Patient Access Representative II who will facilitate access to services for new patients by scheduling appointments, collecting billing information, and verifying data. Patient Access Representative II’s Responsibilities
- Screen and schedule appointments for new patients.
- Collect insurance information and financial and consent data during the intake process.
- Communicate with patients’ referral sources, financial clearance center, and treatment team regarding patient access and financial matters.
Patient Access Representative II’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field is required.
- One (1) year of experience in a patient access setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are highly preferred.
