Salary: $17.00 an hour
 
Team1Medical is working with a world renowned located in the heart of the Medica Center has multiple openings for Patient Escorts. As a Patient Escorts, you assist with transportation of admitted patients to the appropriate treatment area. 
 
Patient Escort’s Responsibilities
  • Escort hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair or stretcher to their destinations.
  • Maintenance of tracking log of patients.
  • Adhere to an equipment checklist for assisting patients on and off wheelchair.
  • Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner.
  • Provide courteous & professional service to all patients and their caregivers.
 
Patient Escort’s Qualifications
  • High School diploma is required.
  • As this position is within a hospital, you must have the following vaccines and immunizations – COVID vaccine, MMR, Varicella, TB Skin Test, Hepatitis B.
  • Ability to follow directions to navigate the medical center campus independently.
  • Ability to push 200 pounds+ using a wheelchair.
  • Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
