Salary: $17.00 an hour
Team1Medical is working with a world renowned located in the heart of the Medica Center has multiple openings for Patient Escorts. As a Patient Escorts, you assist with transportation of admitted patients to the appropriate treatment area.
Patient Escort’s Responsibilities
- Escort hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair or stretcher to their destinations.
- Maintenance of tracking log of patients.
- Adhere to an equipment checklist for assisting patients on and off wheelchair.
- Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner.
- Provide courteous & professional service to all patients and their caregivers.
Patient Escort’s Qualifications
- High School diploma is required.
- As this position is within a hospital, you must have the following vaccines and immunizations – COVID vaccine, MMR, Varicella, TB Skin Test, Hepatitis B.
- Ability to follow directions to navigate the medical center campus independently.
- Ability to push 200 pounds+ using a wheelchair.
- Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
