Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Houston Medical Center. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping patients in their rehabilitation journey while gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and setting up equipment.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and ensure proper form and technique.
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area.
- Track and document patient progress as directed by the physical therapist.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient check-ins, and updating records.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Technician or in a related healthcare role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or exercise science.
- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach
