Public Health Nurse IV
Job Description
- Provide tuberculosis nurse case management.
- Handle coordination of services, including transportation and assistance in seeking eligibility for medical services.
- Educate the community regarding public health services; may instruct specialized preventive health courses.
- Develop and conduct lectures and demonstrations on new techniques for nurses in public or private clinics.
- Coordinate public health services and training with other agencies and services.
- A bachelor of science degree in nursing and a current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas is required.
- Four (4) years of experience as a practicing registered nurse is required.
- Must have a Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
