Job Description:
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Dietitian II to support department needs by providing nutrition education and nutrition therapy to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and monitor treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Create and personalize nutrition education materials.
- Support staff training and share specialty knowledge.
- Promote nutrition services and community health programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three years of Registered Dietitian experience is required.
- Must have active and valid Texas Registered Dietitian Licensure.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) by Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
- Exercises comprehensive knowledge and professional judgment within the limits of individual qualifications.
- Build collaborative relationships to encourage professional growth and development.
