Registered Nurse’s Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for emergency and trauma patients.
- Administer age-appropriate medications instructed by physicians.
- Start intravenous lines and set broken bones.
- Provide support, information, and direct care and utilize equipment and technology.
- Give patients stitches and sutures.
Registered Nurse’s Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree is required.
- Must be state-licensed and registered as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- PALS and ACLS Certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and organizational skills are required.
