Registered Nurse II (PACU)

• Cares for patients Post Op and prepares patients for discharge. 
• Verified medication reconciliation with the patient and provides discharge instructions to responsible adult.
• Responsible for conducting business and patient care activities consistent with the Center policies/procedures for patients. 
• Discrete and confidential handling of all patient information, whether written or spoken, and to be ever vigilant and sensitive to where and how any patient information is shared.

• Must have active licensure under the Texas Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. 
• CPR, ACLS or PALS certification is required. 
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in PACU, SICU or CV ICU are required. 
• Must be a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse or Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse is required.

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends to offer a good work/life balance.
