Job Description
- Distribute age-appropriate immunizations
- Administer prescribed medication by Pharmacy D regulations
- Assist with patient screening such as drawing blood, testing urine, recording vital signs, recording heights and weights, and conducting vision and hearing assessments
- Record pertinent medical patient information in the EMR for the physician assessment
- Discharge the patient from the clinic with a care plan and instructions
- Support clinical team, consisting of APPs, LVNs, RNs, and MAs, in managing their patients
- An Associate's degree is required
- Bachelor’s degree of science in nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Experience with EMR: Epic is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Arabic/Ukrainian/Russian is a strong plus
- Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- The location of the building has close access to the highway with various restaurants to dine at and shop
- Support the community during a time of need for the refugee patients arriving from Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Cuba
