Are you an RN seeking a new position with a new organization? Team1Medical and the Harris County Public Health Department are teaming up to search for a Registered Nurse to join their team! The RN position will require you to act as a providing nurse at various COVID-19 Testing Sites in Harris County. Registered Nurse’s Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Harris County to COVID-19 Sites and assist the healthcare teams in distributing COVID-19 Vaccinations.
- Assist with patient screening, such as drawing blood, testing urine, recording vital signs, recording heights and weights, and conducting vision and hearing assessments.
- Record pertinent medical patient information in the EMR for the physician assessment
- Provide excellent patient care to those in need of medical assistance.
Registered Nurse’s Qualifications
- An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree of science in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A Valid and Current Texas Registered Nurse License is required
- Experience with EMR: Epic is required
- Basic Life Support and CPR Certifications are required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required but strongly desired
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management skills, and interpersonal skills are highly preferred
- A Valid Driver’s License is required as you will be traveling throughout Harris County
