Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Medical Records Tech to join a virtual care team delivering responsive, patient-centered telehealth services. This is a non-clinical role with a strong focus on being a resource for patients and partners to complete a valid release of information. 
Responsibilities:
  • Sending medical records to outside entities (hospitals, doctor’s offices, etc.) 
  • Ensuring that requests from insurance companies or auditors are completed within the required timeframe and have been appropriately reviewed
  • Receiving, sorting, and filing medical records in the appropriate member record
  • Responding to outside entities who send invalid ROIs
  • Tracking all medical record requests including date of receipt, information sent, and date of sending
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Prior experience within a Medical Records department is required
  • Familiarity with using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc) 
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must live within one of the following states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Connecticut. 
  • Flexible availability within the posted schedule

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
