Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Medical Records Tech to join a virtual care team delivering responsive, patient-centered telehealth services. This is a non-clinical role with a strong focus on being a resource for patients and partners to complete a valid release of information.
Responsibilities:
- Sending medical records to outside entities (hospitals, doctor’s offices, etc.)
- Ensuring that requests from insurance companies or auditors are completed within the required timeframe and have been appropriately reviewed
- Receiving, sorting, and filing medical records in the appropriate member record
- Responding to outside entities who send invalid ROIs
- Tracking all medical record requests including date of receipt, information sent, and date of sending
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience within a Medical Records department is required
- Familiarity with using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc)
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must live within one of the following states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Connecticut.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
