Senior Trainer’s Responsibilities
- Provide electronic medical record (EPIC) training to new staff and refresher training to existing staff members.
- Determine instructional outlines by department procedures; select or develop teaching aids, such as handbooks, demonstration equipment, multimedia, visual aids, and reference material.
- Evaluate community school courses and recommend participation by city or department employees; develop training manuals, reference libraries, testing, and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other instructional materials.
Senior Trainer’s Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, personnel management, or a related field is required.
- Three (3) years of professional personnel experience, involving training in a formal classroom setting and the development of curriculum and lesson plans for adult learners, is required.
- A current and valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills are required.
