Transplant Coordinator

Job Description
- Responsible for the complete logistical coordination of all cases between procurement agencies and transplant centers; serve as a communication link for all parties involved.
- Provide donor families with follow-up information and support as needed.
- Collaborate with hospital development programs and public education programs on development initiatives.
- Provide information regarding donor follow-up to data centers, recipient centers, UNOS, and donor hospitals.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- One (1) - two (2) years of work-related experience with the ability to achieve NTACO certification is required; R.N. or P.A. training with ICU or Operating Room experience is highly preferred.
- The ability to deal with a high stress level resulting from the vigorous draining nature of the work is required.
- Must lift 80 lbs. of paperwork and materials.
- Must have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
