Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with proficiency in Artemis Biopsy procedures to join our team at Houston Medical Center. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about diagnostic imaging and committed to providing high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging with a focus on Artemis-guided prostate biopsies and general ultrasound procedures in Urology.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, ensuring proper calibration and upkeep.
- Document procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent required).
- Experience with Artemis Biopsy technology and/or Urology is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
