An acclaimed orthopedic care center is seeking a Radiology Technologist who can produce x-rays, ensure quality images, and is willing to travel to satellite clinics in the south and southeast Houston areas. X-Ray Technologist’s Responsibilities
- Assist patients in educating them on the procedures to complete in a calm and courteous manner
- Prepare equipment and patient rooms for use
- Position and monitor patients during their imaging exams
- Produce diagnostic images as directed by ordering physician
- Submit views to the provider for their review
- Always ensure the safety of patients and equipment
- Administer targeted doses of radiation to the patient as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed
X-Ray Technologist’s Qualifications
- ARRT Certification and TX License as required
- Experience in Siemens, Fuji, and GE equipment is a plus
- Experience with the PACs system is a plus
- Experience in Orthopedics is a plus
