One of the most trusted radiology clinics in De Soto, TX, is partnering with Team1Medical in seeking a part-time X-ray Technologist. The X-ray Technologist will perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for the physician. X-ray Technologist’s Responsibilities
- Screen patients before examinations for any precautions or contradictions about examination; use two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
- Explain and prepare patients for Radiologic imaging procedures that will be performed.
- Follow physician’s orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, the patients, and your coworkers.
X-ray Technologist’s Qualifications
- Certification from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved radiology school is required.
- Must be a Licensed Radiological Technologist.
- AART Certification is required.
- CPR Certification is required.
- Previous experience in fieldwork and training to perform radiographic procedures are required.
